By now all CPNM Registered Voters should have received the letter from the Secretary of State declaring that our Party has lost Ballot Access effective with the 2018 Mid-Term Election. Our Party is still an official political Party in New Mexico, but we have to collect 2,564 verified petition signatures and resubmit our Party By-Laws to regain Ballot Access by 23 days following the 2018 Primary Election. We would like to have that completed by the time we attend the Spring 2017 National Committee Meeting in St. Louis, MO on May 5-6, 2017.
It would be nice if some of you CPNM Registered Voters could find the time to help us collect the required signatures. I will attach a copy of the Petition Form to use for collecting signatures. Good places to collect them would be at Swap Meets, Gun Shows, College Campuses, or on public sidewalks near shopping centers or anywhere people seem to congregate. Ask the people to print clearly their name and address, then sign the form in the first column. If your name is Bill and you registered as William, ensure that you print your name as William, Bob as Robert, Jim as James etc. Once you complete a form of 20 signatures, please mail it to the P.O. Box in Albuquerque that is shown in the upper right-hand corner of the petition form.
